Sales activities based on fair competition

The Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers' Associations of Japan (FPMAJ) formulated the "Code of Ethical Practice for Pharmaceutical Companies" in 1983 as a code of ethics for pharmaceutical companies dedicated to protecting people's lives. In this spirit, the Japan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (JPMA) established the "Promotion Code for Prescription Drugs" in 1993. Then, this "Promotion Code for Prescription Drugs" was further revised to the "JPMA Code of Practice" in January 2013, formulating the standards of conduct governing interactions of company officers and employees with researchers, healthcare providers, patient groups, and others.

Respecting this spirit, we presented the "PDR Code of Practice (including "PDR Promotion Code for Prescription Drugs")" based on the above codes. Our employees comply with these rules and are engaged in sales activities based on fair competition.
